Oakland First Fridays is a community event put on by the local non profit, KONO. Once known as The Art Murmur, OakFF has exploded into a festival filled with local artists, performers and vendors. I started going to the event with friends as a Friday night hangout, trying different food trucks and checking out the art scene. Every month there's amazing up and coming musicians from all over california. Once I started working with KONO I realized what a great opportunity it was to connect with the community and check out new talent. Here are some photos from the last two events.
